About

Since a very young age, Ollie has had three passions; Music, Art and Fashion. Creativity is something that is incorporated into his everyday routine, and has become part of the fabric that weaves his projects together. Oliverproudlock.com is the culmination of all Oliver’s current working projects, and will be the destination for a variety of commitments, including Art, Serge DeNimes, Proudlock Style, as well as collaborations and exciting news.

Since leaving Newcastle University, where Ollie completed a degree in Fine Art, he has continued in his mother’s footsteps making the move into fashion. Moving back to London 2 years ago, Oliver set up Serge DeNimes, a lifestyle brand inspired by the story behind the origin of denim. The brand features a range of luxury, printed t-shirts, but is currently expanding into jewellery, hats and jumpers. The vision for the brand is to incorporate denim into the products, thus linking back to the name of the brand. Serge DeNimes has a number of successful stockists internationally. With the expansion of the brand comes the launch of a new division; ‘Serge Platform.’ Further information will be announced later in the year. Heavily embedded in the ethos of the brand is supporting up and coming talent, and this is something Serge Platform will be focusing on.

In addition to exciting progression within his own brand, Oliver has collaborated on a number of projects. Most recently, Oliver has designed an exclusive range of 4 styles of shoe for popular brand Oliver Sweeney. The shoe range is available at Oliver Sweeney. Oliver has spent 6 months designing the style and colour ways for the range, which is available now.

There are a number of collaborate projects yet to be announced, however, an exclusive jewellery range with Theo Fennel will be launching in Autumn 2013.

My profile was launched by the involvement in the successful television show Made in Chelsea, which is a fantastic experience and has provided me with the most amazing opportunities. I have met some brilliant people, and I love how many creative people get in touch with me through Twitter and social media. This is part of the reason that Serge Platform has launched, as I have the opportunity to leverage young creatives who perhaps don’t have the public profile to showcase their work to the right people, or accelerate the time within which they can make their ideas successful.
